About Dr. Robert DiSilvestro

Dr. Robert DiSilvestro holds a Ph.D. in biochemistry from Texas A&M University, was a nutrition professor for 34 years, and is now Emeritus Professor of Human Nutrition at Ohio State University. Dr. D. has published over 110 peer reviewed original research papers plus various reviews and commentaries. His research has covered biochemistry, nutrition, physiology, pharmacology, physical and mental exercise performance, and research on people’s subjective perceptions. He has also been involved in business and marketing. Robert has applied this diverse background to understanding evidences for the existence of the God of the Bible. He does not hold any theology degrees, but has taken a number of the relevant courses (such as New Testament Greek). Robert started the website “God. Evidences and Perplexities” to talk about the question: Why believe in the God of the Bible? The site covers evidences, considerations of objections to Christianity, and the roles of faith and experience in encountering God.
